Iron Men of God Website Design and Branding
Overview
The Problem
There were several hurdles that we had to overcome throughout this project.
- Client had no web presence
- Client had no previous branding
- Client had very little web technology knowledge
Content Architecture
The success of any project starts with a thorough understanding of the client’s needs. That’s why, when we began working on this project, we took the time to learn all about the client and their business. We researched their services, target audience, and main objectives, and used that information to guide our work. As a result, we were able to develop a creative solution that met all of the client’s objectives. And because we took the time to get to know the client upfront, the entire process was smooth and efficient.
Wireframing the Flow
After assessing the client’s budget and needs, we decided that a one-page website was an excellent starting point for their organization. It provides a scalable solution at a low startup cost. We start our visual design process with wireframes. These low-fidelity images allow us to depict the website structure to the client: similar to a blueprint for a house. The photos below show the wireframe that we submitted to the client.

Going from Wireframe to High Fidelity
After the client approved the wireframe we’re ready to start mocking up the high-fidelity designs. This is usually the hardest part, but it’s also the most rewarding. In this step, we breathe life into the wireframes by adding colors, typography, images, and graphics.

The Logo Creation Process (Bonus)
At Uplift Web Design, we’re dedicated to going above and beyond for our clients. This project didn’t include logo design, but we went the extra mile and created a custom logo for the client’s organization. We delivered 3 logo design concepts and refined them from there. View the 3 concepts below.

We went with LOGO B because it fit the feel we were going for best. However, we wanted to make it feel more masculine so we changed the color palette to be darker and more subdued. We also added some additional detailing to give it more of a masculine edge. We delivered a final draft to the client with several different color palettes to choose from.
